• Cult-B: Navigating Identities: Intersectional Politics of Race, Class, Gender, and Civic Voice

    This course is an introduction to gender and women's studies with a focus on identity politics as represented theoretically, historically, and in popular culture. Course topics will include issues of identity, voice, marginality, inequality, and agency as examined along lines of race, class, gender, ability, and age. The course will use intersectional methodology to analyze examples in feminist history, theory, and popular culture.
